Dimitrios Papadimitriou graduated from School of Dentistry, University of Athens in 2006.

He specialized in Periodontics and Surgical Implantology at the University of Rochester, Eastman Institute for Oral Health, NY, USA, during the period 2008-2011. The following year, 2011-2012 he continued his training in Prosthetic Implantology at the University of Harvard, Boston, USA as a Scholar of the International Team for Oral Implantology (ITI Scholarship). In 2012, he acquired the title of the Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

He is an Adjunct, Clinical Assistant Professor of Periodontology at the University of Rochester, NY, USA since 2012.

His task is to constantly inform postgraduate students of Periodontics about modern surgical techniques and the new protocols in the field of Periodontics and Implantology, through monthly and annual online courses.

Regarding his scientific interest, he is a speaker at national and international scientific conferences and he also publishes scientific articles in foreign and Greek journals of high scientific recognition, regarding Digital Implant Techniques and specialized techniques for the regeneration of hard and soft tissues.

In addition, he is in charge of educational seminars for Dentists in Greece regarding Periodontics and Implantology, modern surgical techniques with Piezoelectric devices and First Aid at the Dental Clinic.

He serves as President of the “Hellenic Society of Medical and Dental Digital Technology”, Treasurer of the “Facial Esthetic and Rejuvenation Academy of Greece” and Member of the “Hellenic Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry”.

At his private dental clinic, he deals exclusively with Periodontics and Implantology.

Dr. Papadimitriou’s interest is focused on modern techniques for the regeneration of periodontal tissues preserving this way teeth that are diseased by Periodontal Disease and also regeneration of peri-implant tissues for the placement of dental implants in areas where bone destruction does not allow their placement.

In addition, he specializes in surgical techniques of Periodontal Plastic Surgery of the gingiva for their regeneration when for various reasons they have started to recede.
